It’s stressful trying to remember every little thing that needs to get done. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had someone who could just handle it? Someone who could deal with the minutiae of day-to-day business so you can focus on what you do best, your job?

Out of the many emails and phone calls you get in a day, there are probably only a handful you need to deal with yourself. So let me worry about the others. I can triage phone calls and emails and deal with most of them quickly. I work with you to address the others, so you have to touch them as little as possible while staying on top of what’s going on.

When you’re crazy busy, it’s easy to lose or misplace files, folders, email data, etc. You wind up wasting hours every month trying to find stuff you know you have! It’s maddening.
When I work with clients, there are a few questions I’ve constantly got running in the back of my mind. They are: 1)Who needs this? and 2) Where should I store it? Then, I make sure that piece of information gets where it needs to go. You will spend a lot less time trying to find stuff, wondering if you have the latest version or worrying if maybe you accidentally deleted it forever.
Manage People
Whether it’s customers, staff, volunteers, or the boss, a good virtual assistant knows how to manage people. A highly productive virtual assistant needs to know how to motivate people and get them onboard toward a common goal while having little actual authority. Some people just don’t have the temperament for it. But, it’s been my experience that you can get people to work toward a common goal when you treat everybody with respect and show people what's in it for them.

You put hours of blood, sweat and tears into writing copy for a brochure that perfectly describes your business. A few months later you're pouring more blood, sweat, and tears into a press release and realize you already wrote what you need. But now you can't find that brochure anywhere. You wind up wondering if you should keep looking for it or just rewrite it. Either way, you know you're wasting your time.

I am also diligent about naming and saving files so you can easily find what you are looking for when you need it again.
